St. Matthew's Lutheran Church

At a called congregational meeting, St. Matthew's approved the plans for the new Family Life Center and to begin building when we have sufficient funds and/or pledges on hand so that we do not have to borrow over $600,000.

The new Family Life Center will have a Fellowship Hall area that will seat 350 around round tables for a meal. It also has 2 class rooms, a youth room, parlor, lobby, kitchen and bathrooms.

The Floor Plans include a 6,000 SF Fellowship Space that will seat 350 at round tables for meals. It will also be designed for basketball/volleyball with retractable type basketball goals mounted to the ceiling.

At one end will be a stage set up for both worship and for plays.

Kitchen will be designed with commercial equipment and a food pantry space.

It will be connected to the present Education Building with an enclosed hallway.

The overhead view shows the placement of the building on our property. It will be very easy to get to the building as it will be on about the same level as the present Education Building.
